Halloween 2010

We had a bit of it all this year...scary costumes, cuddly adorable costumes and just plain sweet costumes.

Marc and I dressed up for the first time in years, together.  We were scary vampires. The contacts made the costume.  Mine were icy blue, Marc's were red.

My "Edward" making me his forever...;)

Then there was my sweet cuddly lion and my little miss Dorothy.

Look, it's Cinderella and a starting linebacker for BYU! (Andalyn and Ryan, their cousins).

Daddy and Carson

Mama and Tana

Montana, Maryn and Megan....cousin love.

Uncle Mike and Carson

Yummy Chicken Noodle Soup for dinner - all over his face...

Loving little family!

We had a great Halloween with out families and friends!  We had a great Trunk or Treat with our ward, and we went to a super fun party, that I unfortunately did not take my camera to, but had a blast with great friends!  Hope all of you had a fun Halloween!

Tahoe

A month or so back we took a quick, (really, less than 24 hours) trip to Tahoe with our good friends, the Lindsey's.

The men of course, did this...

on this beautiful course:

Made this man a very happy husband!

The scenery wasn't so bad for us wives to tag a long for a few holes as well.  Not to mention our hubby's are studs on the golf course.

Sam and I (and my nasty stitches in my lip from having a mole removed....no, I was not hit by a stray golf ball)

My love

Sam and Eric

The four of us...

Yay for Edgewood!  It was one of the best quick trips I've been on!

Fairy Tale Town

A few months back, Montana had her very first preschool Field Trip to Fairy Tale Town.
Gorgeous girls

What may have started the idea that led in to her Halloween Costume

Can't get enough of that smile...
How high can you jump?

LOVE this picture!!

My sweet little man came along for the ride

Can she get anymore beautiful?

My sweet friend Sam.

My wonderful mother who came a long for the fun...

Grandma kisses are the best!
This boy loves his grandma!

Aside from the field trip being a bit crazy, with a million preschoolers running around...I was glad to have Montana join in on the fun with her class!

Messy Business

Oh, I am obsessive over my house.  I drive myself crazy trying to keep it clean and spotless.  I am learning to find a balance, but I'm afraid it'll probably always be one of my obsessions.

However, a few weeks ago, the house was particularly messy and it was making me somewhat crazy...just as I was about to grab the vacuum, I looked around and grabbed my camera instead.

One day, my house will have no real reason to be cleaned up...

There will be no more play dough ice cream mid day snacks.

Or picnics or tea parties in the living room

Or bouncing baby boys in the walk ways
Or amateur artwork and love notes scattered about...or crumbs to vacuum up.

 Or toys to trip over

And that will be a sad day...so instead of worrying about cleaning up the toy room that I know is askew upstairs...and instead of updating this blog right this very moment (although it will be soon...)  I'm going to take my kids to the park on this very bright, sunny, November afternoon.
