The Last Five Years

To My Sweetheart-

Five years ago TODAY you took my hands, then got down on one knee and asked me to be your wife. You gave me the gift of eternal love.

Four years ago, I was a newlywed learning to be your wife. I wasn't always good at it, but you have stuck through it with me and have given me not only a husband and roomate, but a best friend and companion.

Three years ago, I was a few months pregnant with our dear sweet Montana Belle and together we prepared each other to be parents. You helped to give me the gift of motherhood.

Two years ago, we were new parents with a 7 month old. We were learning more and more everyday about how to be parents. On top of all of those responsibilities, you were a recent college graduate, studying and preparing for your licenses and deciding on your career. You've given us the gift of being an amazing provider.

A year ago, we took a big leap of faith and you helped to give me my dream job-a stay at home mother and homemaker. Although we have experienced trials of faith, we've been blessed ten fold for this decision and I don't know that our little family has ever been more prosperous or happy. Thank you for making the sacrifices each day to provide so amazingly so that we can continue to give this gift to our children and our family.

TODAY, we are still working on expanding our family, working hard to support, sustain and give quality of life to each other and Montana and truly enjoying every minute of it. Our life is so blessed and amazing and I'm grateful every day for the little gifts you provide me with as my husband, best friend and companion: you're sense of humor, hard work, positive attitude, motivation to work towards our goals together, your passion for me and our marriage, your passion for life and success, the amazing father you are and the gift of time, energy, efforts and love that you give to our baby girl every opportunity that you get.

My life is truly a gift every day with you by my side and I love you more and more with each passing year. I'm so excited to watch this list get 60 and 70 years longer and pile up the gifts that being you're eternal companion blesses me with yesterday, today and tomorrow.

The Happiest Place on Earth

We went to Disneyland...again! :) We do love that place! This time we went with Marc's parents and met up with his sisters family later in the trip. It was a blast!

We got up really early and Marc drove all the way down there...here is Montana as she wakes up in the morning realizing we are at Disneyland!)

We stayed at the Paradise Pier. Montana was excited to see Goofy in the lobby!

Heading into the park on the first day

Marc's parents on the first ride of the day- Pirates!

We then headed over to Pooh's Corner

And then it was onto Montana's much anticipated ride- DUMBO! But not just Dumbo-she specifically wanted to ride purple Dumbo with Pompy! And she got her wish!

The carousel is her all time favorite

Marc getting ready to spin us like crazy on the tea cups...

The Mad Hatter

The winning hat choice! Thanks Mams and Pompy!

A sleepy princess...

Waiting for a lunch date with the Blue Bayou!

The next day we headed over to California Adventure-where we met Lightning McQueen and Mater!

And rode the awesome Toy Story ride Midway Mania

And of course we went to bugs land for "It's Tough to Be a Bug" and Heimlich

Then we met up with the Carters for a 3D show...

And then Tana needed a nap-so we went back to the hotel room...

After some rest, Montana felt she was ready for her first big ride! She was tall enough for Matterhorn! Here we go!

She liked putting her arms up and screaming!

Her eyes seem a bit shocked- but she had fun!

Happy to be a big girl! :)

Waiting in line with cousins, Maddie,Michael and Justin

The next day we wore our Mickey Mouse shirts!

And headed over to let Montana drive...

...at Autopia

The carousel again...of course!

A princess and her tiara...

She LOVED Playhouse Disney Live on Stage! See how focused she is!

Tall enough for bumper cars in Bugs land!

The princess in her transportation...

I just LOVE this picture of Mitchell and Montana-they could be siblings!

And I LOVE this pic of the munchkins! Tooo cute!

Megan looks like she's doing the "hang loose" sign! :) Meg and J...

How Montana feels about Disneyland

On our final day we went to Toon Town for the morning before heading home.

Riding Roger Rabbit!

She rode Gadget Go-Coaster-with her arms in the air and screaming. This girls a rider!

And of course- one last carousel ride! :)
Lunch in Downtown Disney-a new Mickey baby...a very content smile...and we are off.
Thanks Disneyland, old friend, old buddy, old pal....you never disappoint. See you soon. We love you! Love, The Rogers
